I bought this on eBay before and the instructions on there for people that don't understand Chinese is not leave this in for more than 15 mins but can be washed out after 3 mins due to the plant based sulfer base of the product (so note that it can be used on damaged hair, I used it for severely damaged hair and it was fine and healthier now)For damaged hair I left it on for 8min but no more than 10min since my hair is naturally a tad bit thicker regardless. I followed up with hair reconstructor creme since the Chinese instructions state that the product has built in neutralizer with the premixed solution.I mixed my hair reconstructor (my fave one is called Dumb Blonde by Bead Head) with my fave conditioner after all the foam came out(The foam turned pink when I washed it out) focusing mostly on the roots and ends to make sure the tips don't break. Lastly, I moisturized accordingly then curled with setting mouse (setting spray is fine too) to keep the hair soft and not stiff later.This is not a hair mask but still an artificial straightener so use this once every month-two months.I hope this helps (^~^)
